Our cabins in Cortez were the same as the ones in Colorado Springs. Didn't see "Tweety Bird" there, though.
The morning began early with our individual daily devotions.
Then, we held our Sunday morning service at the KOA. Matt & Augie provided the music.
Our accommodations for the week were at the Montezuma Presbyterian Church in Cortez for meals and where the gals slept. As was last year, the guys sleeping arrangements were at Johnson Memorial UMC in Dolores, about 15 minutes north of Cortez.
After we got settled at the church, we headed to Towaoc to set up for Vacation Bible Fun this evening.

The Construction Crew met with Pastor Bud to learn of the projects that he would like to have done. Priority one was a simple sprinkler system to water the flower and plant beds that went unattended for several years after the passing of the gentleman that kept them up. Other projects included fixing the air conditioner unit, fixing the shed door, repairing some of the playground equipment and adding two new outdoor benches at the back of the property. The crew then began laying out their plan of attack. Gary & LeRoy began planning the sprinkler system while Jack, Steve, Keith, Jim and Randy assessed the other tasks.
